Booking terms
What a booking is
Booking on this site holds your seats. It is a request, not a payment — nothing is charged online. We confirm every booking on WhatsApp, and the booking is only final once we have confirmed it.
Seats are held for a limited time while we wait to hear from you. If we cannot reach you before the hold expires, the seats return to the calendar automatically so other guests can book them.
Prices
The price shown when you book is the price you pay, even if our prices change later. Children pay the child rate for the ages shown on the programme page. Children below that age come free but still take a seat in the van, so please include them when you book.
A tour needs enough guests
A day runs only when enough people have booked it. If you are the first booking on a date, we need a minimum party before that day opens; the calendar shows how many guests are already booked so you can see which days are certain to run.
On the day
- Nobody rides the elephants, and there are no performances
- The mahouts decide how close anyone may get, and their instructions are not optional
- Swimming is at your own risk; the pool is natural, with rocks and changing depth
- Tell us before you book about pregnancy, injuries, mobility needs or medical conditions
- We may end a visit early, without refund, if someone behaves in a way that puts guests, staff or the elephants at risk
Photos
We sometimes photograph the day. Tell the guide if you would rather not be photographed and we will not use pictures of you.

Not written yet. These terms need the sanctuary's actual position on insurance cover, liability limits, and the minimum age for the trek.
Do not promise cover that does not exist — the day a guest is injured, this paragraph is the one that gets read.
